Food was delicious, unfortunately our soups were permanently besieged by wasps. So it wasn't fun to eat and we left hungry. By service I would have understood that we were offered something to take away as a replacement.

Very unfriendly service, especially Eva. We were asked several times if we ordered there, which we did. And several times if we already paid.

The food was good once. I stress "was"! The quality of the food has noticeably decreased. But the prices have increased. This was my last visit.

Cold Saturday morning, a bowl of piping hot soup and a glass of alt bier. Does not get any better than this. The place was packed when we arrived yet we had our soup and bier within a few minutes. Great service and attentive staff.

I'm not sure what I love more about Dauser... is it the location being in one of Dusseldorf's incredible fresh markets? Or is it the style of eating... standing at a table, bent over a bowl of thick, home-style goulash soup and breaking bread with your hands? Or is it just enjoying the second best alt beer on tap? Or is it the service... the atmosphere... the people... the real German food... the intimate setting where you can chat to a stranger who after a few beers becomes a friend? It is all of these things and it is all in one place! Dauser gastronomy at Carl Platz market is a true German experience because it is here that you truly get to eat, meet, drink and discover the locals, the internationals and the flyovers... love it!

The best goulash soup and friendly customers and staff

Delight! Really delicious. In the queue and at the tables were some local men. Therefore, we went. The menu in German, but the workers kindly translated into English. The waiter also spoke in English. Sausages - just whole-purpose. In the goulash over the pasta - pieces of meat. Well-fed, for the whole day walking through the cold city. For two, 17.5 euros.

Nice bar with snacks and homemade-style soups . Great outside seating and wonderful local draftbeer (Alt). Worth checking out.
